The most important and exciting thing about this event is our ability to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for breast cancer. All the proceeds from "Blowout Breast Cancer" and all other donations made to Studio 455 during the month of October has been donated to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer by Team Nurse, a local team from Marlboro, NJ. Team Nurse was started 12 years ago by Doreen LoPresti when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. Doreen unfortunately lost her battle to breast cancer in 2013, but her motivation to help find a cure continues on through her daughter Victoria, a stylist her at Studio 455, who has continued to fundraise and raise awareness for breast cancer.
